Shop Maintenance Technician

Need an individual with small engine repair experience to work on various forklifts and generators. Responsible for assisting maintenance supervisor in troubleshooting and servicing of CNC equipment and other industrial production equipment. Maintains and services CNC equipment and assists with repair as needed. Assists with repair of forklifts, cranes and other industrial equipment as needed. Experience with Mazak mills and lathes, a plus. High School or GED; degree from accredited vocational school a plus. Electro-mechanical experience with machines, vehicles and industrial equipment. Able to interpret operational manuals. Computer experience a plus.

Welders

Joins aluminum and steel materials utilizing metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding methods; fills seams and holes of metal components. Follows drawings and specifications. Inspects part, sub-components and assemblies. Follows written instructions, drawings and specifications; maintains knowledge of safety protocol and quality processes.

Skills/Qualifications:
High school education and/or formal training through a vocational or technical school, relevant welder or welding fabricator certifications, ability to read blueprints, basic knowledge of chemistry and metallurgy, understanding of electricity, attention to detail, manual dexterity, physical strength, good vision, spatial skills, technical skills.

Machinists

Positions available for CNC machinists. Responsible for programming and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) for the manufacture of mechanical parts, assemblies and end items. Reading and interpreting complex mechanical fabrication drawings, understanding materials and their properties and performing fabrication, assembly, adjustment and troubleshooting of precision mechanisms required. Additional responsibilities include quality inspection and preventive maintenance of the assigned equipment.

Essential functions:
Perform CNC machining, milling, lathe turning, and cutting, grinding, and related tasks to fabricate machined parts per drawings provided. Provide hands-on fabrication, assembly, disassembly, adjustment and measurement of complex parts. Participate in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the machinery, equipment and structures used for production and ensure they are in good operating condition. Work effectively with coworkers and superiors in a constructive, positive manner; ensure the production schedule is followed; understand production work process; address problems and develop practical solutions.

Quality Assurance Specialist

A full-time position is available for a Quality Assurance Specialist.  Responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards,  reads blueprints (drawings), instructions, and specifications to ensure quality of Company product/s, completes the quality and inspection portions of Company work orders, performs receiving inspections on raw materials, hardware, products and services, manages supplier documentation and supplier performance, utilizes monitoring and measurement equipment to verify dimensions of products, manages quality records and Company documentation, initiates and manages non-conformance and corrective actions, manages Company quality management system (QMS) in accordance with AS9100D. 

Skills/Qualifications 

Prefer a bachelor’s degree or similar experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field.  5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality management principles and techniques as applicable to ISO 9001.  Proficient in ERP management software, such as Acumatica or SAGE (not req).  Experience in the development and day-to-day maintenance of AS9100D quality management systems (required)

Forklift Truck Mechanic

Job Summary:

The Forklift Truck Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks used throughout the facility.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspects forklift truck fleet to ensure trucks are working properly and safely.
  • Identifies any forklift trucks that need repairs.
  • Removes unsafe equipment from facility operating area and notifies supervisor.
  • Repairs and maintains various types of forklift trucks including electric, gas-powered, and propane-powered.
  • Tests forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
  • Schedules and performs routine maintenance for forklift trucks.
  • Ensures batteries for electric forklift trucks are fully charged.
  • Replaces empty propane tanks on propane-powered forklift trucks.
  • Maintains repair log for forklift truck fleet.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Small engine repairs such as golf carts and other related vehicles.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to use hand and power tools to repair forklift trucks.
  • Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklift trucks.
  • Excellent mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years experience or completion of forklift truck mechanic’s training course.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically capable of accessing all parts of the forklift truck needing repairs or maintenance, either by kneeling or lying on the back.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
